Read evidence and context

Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Pulled this out from behind the radiators. Why would someone do this? What purpose could this serve? Fished them out of this opening.

POST 2Original post

Was the car driven in very cold temperatures? It will block airflow and allow the engine to heat up faster. Either way not a very smart idea. Also could be something like the thermostat is stuck open and rather than actually addressing the cause they did something like this. Again, not a very smart idea.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I guess I will pull the bumper to check for any more obstruction. It hasn't run hot in the year Ive had it. Im in SC with relatively mild winters and sometimes fairly hot.

POST 4Original post

If the air suction in front of the radiator is in place then the bed sheet at the spot shown won't hamper airflow. Perhaps it was used to protect visible areas and then forgotten, when the wheel Wells were painted black?

POST 5Original post

This could be the most bizarre post I have seen about a 996!
