I am trying to sell a set of regular power 996 leather seats for a friend, but cannot find a good baseline price to set them at. Do any of you guys have experience in pricing when switching to sport seats or GT3 seats? Thanks.

Not worth much since they are the "standard" seats. Now if they have heat, crest in the headrest, full power, etc. then there is a small market for those without those features......but still not worth too much. Why is it that there are so many that ask for a price check here are always "checking for a friend"???

Baseline... $0....No Reserve ebay auction. The consumers looking for seats will let you know what they go for. Also search completed auctions key words likes "Porsce 996 Seats" that will give you an indication of what someone might pay for them. 996 seats have gone down in value in the last year just like the cars. Sport Seats used to be worth $3K -$3.5 I have seen several offered under $2500

Thanks sandoval, I have searched ebay extensively, but there are so many versions of these seats that I wanted a ballpark figure. And for future references, would it sound better if I just said I was selling the seats for myself?

Chris, I know........too much java this morning! I'll scale back a bit by lunchtime BTW, Sandoval is right on the money. Which is a better interpretation (thanks) of what I was trying to say. The consumers will dictate what they can bring.

i sold mine last spring that were in mint condition for $700 to a local guy. they had: full power standard leather NO crest NO heat hope this helps
