Just looked at the continental manual, looks like you don't need the adapter as it uses those standard ISO connectors too.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hi guys,
I bought a continental radio to replace the cdr23 in my car so I can finally get bluetooth. I thought the installation would be straightforward but it actually isn't. Apart from the radio antenna I have 3 main cables at the back of my radio. 2 seems a straight plug and play to the continenTal but there is one that am not sure what to do with? See pictures attached. Any one could help? Am desperate for a proper bluetooth solution! Thanks
I think that is the MOST fibre optic cable to the amp in your frunk. You can make/buy a wiring adaptor from the amp outputs to the rear of you new head unit to drive the speakers directly thereby by passing the amp but if you have a cd changer etc it may be more complex
I needed a Connects2 mini amp to connect my (non MOST) Boxster loom to the Continental head unit.
The conti HU's are great, not very intuitive UI and buttons but works brilliantly.
OK, the fact you have the yellow connector, plugged into C1, means you should have a non bose amp in the car.
That connector gives you a line level out of the head unit to your factory amp.
The MOST connector, the black fibre connector you are holding, might just be for accessories, like phone, cd changer etc. rather than having the top end most amp.
So, you should just need a to take the line level out of the Continental to that yellow connector and be up and running, you might need to add a "power on/remote" wire too to turn the amp on.
One of these should do it.

But the yellow connector makes me think your car has a non MOST amplifier.
Just looked at the continental manual, looks like you don't need the adapter as it uses those standard ISO connectors too.
However....it also looks like no line level out on that model.

I think you need to swap for a Continental model with line level out if that doesn't have it already.
Or a head unit with line level out on regular RCA plugs and use that adapter I linked too.
I'm surprised it doesn't have line level out to be honest. I would do some digging in case it is just missed on the manual, it has been known.
But you don't need an expensive MOST adapter.
The head unit can drive 4 speakers directly from the standard connectors on the rear. It may be an option to lose the frunk amp completely and wire the speakers (from the amp output connection) directly to the head unit.
OK, just done a bit more digging, seems none of the continental radios have line level output, so you will need to buy a speaker to line level convertor.
If you can get one that fits the standard B black to C block mini iso great, but that is how you will get it up and running.
You will also have to take a 12v switched from the head unit to the yellow c block too.
Mine is a 996.1 so no MOST, but I do have the factory sound system, code M490. I ended up sourcing and adapter loom from Bergville in Norway. Google "Bergville Porsche M490".
Great little stereo, i've just installed one in my 996.
FYI - For those searching this thread later. With the BASIC sounds system (no MOST or BOSE amp), you do not need any harness/adapter , its plug and play with the standard harness (black + brown plugs).
