Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
72 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Puur Porsche Treffen 2020 is easily the biggest Dutch Porsche meeting. I started the day and shared a coffee with these 3 guys. I carefully avoided my 147:
Porsche 997.2 GT3RS. The white car is a 4-seater without cage and in US spec.
Rauh Welt Begriff RWB with Kremer racing tech in.
Beautifull and correct - but resprayed - 1965 Porsche 911 SWB inspected by Marcel and Joost.
Gorgeous 1984 Porsche SC on deep dish Fuchs.
Gorgeous Porsche 914. My teenage dream car before the Countach came in my sight...
Supertrio Porsche 997.2 GT3 RS... and a red thingy.
Shame I dropped my Oly EM10 mk3 so I had to use my daughters Nikon DSLR. Oh well...
Wonder how he made the white 997.2 a four seater, or how the factory did? My understanding was that rear bulkhead was removed from the 997.2 so there is nowhere to bolt the seats or seatbelts to to make a four seater.
The 996 and 997.1 GT3 yes, but not the 997.2.

The 996 and 997.1 GT3 yes, but not the 997.2.
I'll ask the owner. It has child seats and 2 extra seatbelts.
RWB Kremer is cool but not my thing.
I have over 160 pics to share and will try to dump in 3 every day
Cheers!
GT3 RS owner: "The original owner of the car had 2 kids. Behind the front seats there are no real seats but the shape is there to sit and use the seatbelts. All is done with original Porsche parts." - He will send a pic and I will post.

Some insight on the 4-seater Porsche 997.2 GT3RS:
All done with original Porsche bits.
I think that's...brave to say the least! I'm still sure that the firewall behind that carpeting is only single skinned and not double like the old cars though. Regardless, I wouldn't want my two in there if I was rear ended
This is a great car: 1988 Porsche 911 G-model owner Joost Hermes took nearly 6 months to find.
The car has turbo seats, no sunroof, lots of factory options and sits in its first paint.
I have no issue with the period bumpers and big square mirrors. This French G looks the absolute dogs.
Funny plate as well. Behind this gem is an absolute mint 912. Great to have mates with such fantastic cars.
More to come!

I don't think the now-owner takes his kids for a ride in the back. The 'conversion' was done by the original US owner.
Porsche 912 attracts:
Marcel 1 brought his 912 Patina Edition...
... and Marcel brought his 912 Minter-than-mint Edition.
A closer look to the added extra brush work.
There's so much more to share. Let's pick some red stuff today:
Ouch! Transaxle Porsche still is underrated, wether it be a 924, 944, 968 and even 928. They are a rare sight, even at a Porsche-only event. Some Einstein thought it would be handy to cluster these goodies.
I'm hardly familiar to all the modern (post-aircooled) cars and I don't known what I'm looking at. This looks the bizz though and I probably would have lots of fun getting it through its paces.
For me a G-modell is all there is to it. Just look at this 911 sitting there. Red cabrio in the back enhances today's theme.
Next!
Electric stuff:
Beautiful made Zero Classics electric G. More of this one soon
Enel X Moto E weighs a hefty 250 kgs and boasts 150 hp and 200 Nm. This 250 kmh bike is an absolute riot and looks the bizz too. The Formula E racingbike class started in 2019. A bit O/T on this thread, sorry.
A lifelong dream often starts when you're young and grows along with you. This boy dips more than a toe in the pool of Porsche. I wonder when he will drive his first Porsche.

Agree! Just love these cars. Had my one owner GR example for 8 years now and just gets better and better as the years roll by
Not a G but a drop dead gorgeous 1970 911T 2.2 that caught my eye.
VW Karmann Ghia and why not?
What's better than a Porsche 356 Coupe? Right, a drop topper.

It'll be absolutely awful to drive, but jeez how cool would you look knocking about in that?!

A well sorted 356 is a lovely thing to drive. Much better than you’d think.
What Cheib said. Brakes will be a bit soft but I drove a 1956 Speedster and some Coupes and anyone who says a 356 is pretty much a Beetle must be send to hell immediately. The very origin of Porsche: a late 356 to me is a better drive than an early 911
I dunno, I owned an utterly mint, full nut and bolt restoration G Series 911 and I thought that was bad-I was simply extrapolated a much older 356 would be worse!
Yeah, well I've learnt every car can be turned into a great driver.
Anyways, on with the show:
Now there's a familiar theme. Reference to the 1971 Le Mans entry 917/20 Pink Pig.
I love a Boxster (2016, 2.5 turbo) and I don't care what folks say about the engine sound. I drove both the 365 brake GTS and 300 brake (2.0) T.
Fuchs wheel magic.
Today's theme is white:
IMO white looks great when a design is great.
Boxster can handle all colours.
The older Porsches had various types of white: Carrara White, Cream White, Biarritz White, Oryx White Pearl etc etc etc.
G-model and 964 will remain my favorite Porsche models. I love the basics of a G and the drive quality of a 964. An early SC or 930 would satisfy all my needs. This is a 1976 car. Fantastic period colour.
This 1979 930 looks da bizz! Talbot Yellow if I'm right...
Low rider trouble...
Puur Porsche Treffen 2020:
924 and 944 are so underrated still. Amazing because they are fantastic cars.
Targa and in the right colour.
Big time 356 love here.
More Porsche Treffen:
What is not to like about a Porsche 356? Such a beautiful and fine driving car.
Or IMO even better: a G Model 911? Early cars are my favorite.
Porsche 914 will always be a marmite car. I consider a 914 as a better driving 356 / 912: more balanced, more agile and low center of gravity.
Even with just 90 brake these light weights go amazingly well.

That's interesting. It contradicts all the things online saying seatbelts can't be installed in a 997.2.
On with the show:
Porsche 928 still is an amazing design... Compare this to period Aston, Maserati and Jaguar!
Racing Gelb Porsche 996 looking good.
Not for me!
Not for me too!
Porsche 914 detail. How good do these drive? I would not say a period 911 is overestimated but you can't deny a well set up 90 brake 1.8 litre car is an absolute riot on 2nd/3rd gear twisties and will be hard to follow by any 2 - 2.4 litre 911.
2020 Porsche 718 CAYMAN GT4 looks great in Crayon.
I have a lot of love for a 924. Look at this one being timeless and beautiful.
1984 3.2 SC. Not sure about the wheels...
2018 991 GTS Cab. Epic colour!
There's bad taste and there's bad taste...
1982 3.2 SC. Wheels look great. I thought early Cups where 1988 and up. Anyone?
Jaguar XJS 3.6 cabrio is a 2-seater and look what a stunner! About 200 brake and 20-30 mpg. I'd leave the V12 and choose this straight six.
It was pretty easy last year. In 2020 the Treffen was massive. Keep an eye on

You think a UK delegation would be cool to come over?
I'd be happy to do a repo for the mags.
I do so anyways

then
Transaxles are hard to find over here. My favorites lined up: fantastic G Model Targa and late F.
I just don't get it when owners write the brand of their car on the side. It's bloody obvious innit?
The search for the engine is always a funny sight...
Distinctive noses.
912 full of patina.
That looks like a great event! Is it a yearly thing ?
Hoping to pick up my first Porsche on friday.
Might have to try and combine a trip back home with this meet if it's on again.

There's an email address. Maybe ask what's going on for 2021?
I will, cheers.
Also just noticed it's held in Eindhoven every year, which is great for a Limburger like me
Liking you 3000GT sir.
Yes, near Eindhoven.
I go there with mates.
After a proper Dawn Raid of course.
Check #DauwtrappeRS on Insta and maybe join.
Best, A.
PUUR Porsche treffen 2020: 1972 911T 2.4 jewel.
Expect an abundance of F and G models.
Next edition is Sunday August 15 2021. Maybe join our posse to meet up.
PUUR Porsche event 2020. Sunday 18 September is the 2022 issue:
Brute 1979 930 gets my vote
Visitors come from Germany, Belgium and even France to join the Porsches.
The famous Marcel 912 has the understated interior I like so much.
Happy colours were common back then but rare today: a sign of the times?
Fancy wheels on this baby.
Nice 1969 911T Targa 2 litre.
Transaxles were a minority and will always be at an event like this...
1981 924 looking great in grey.
Last bits of my 2020 Puur Porsche meeting directory:
Who says a Porsche should be a shiny object of desire?
This car currently has a German owner
Pretty cool 912 alert
Last pics!
A beach full of Porsches: as from 2024 the PUUR event is held in Germany.
G Model Cab ticks all my boxes.
You decide which one is prettier.
Gorgeous 911 Targa in classic silver ticks all the boxes.
RWB Kremer weapon.
This is the inside of the special Kremer 911 done by RWB. Check the signatures.
It will not take long before enthusiast drivers look back to appreciate simple interiors like these.
Everyone who sees this one asks the same question: is this a real one? The gearshifter is the first thing I look at...
Porsche 911T details.
Is it me or are 80s wheels just the very best looking wheels ever?
Yeah, well...
Porsche G Model details: I like the big mirrors!
Cool wheels.
Porsche 944 detail: classic NACA duct
Eclectic.
