Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Update, so I've stripped down to the wiper motor, tested for voltage to the motor, to which there was no power supply.
Leading evidence: 'Test voltage' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Check 12volts' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

I would start by checking for volts on the switched live when the lights are set to be on.

Thanks again MC, I have recently replaced my squib ring would that have any relevance.

I can't here any motor trying to run when moving the stalk.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hi guys,
I'm pretty sure they were working previously, however I've just ben out for a run and got caught in a shower and the wiper/washer are not working.
Fuse is OK (C6) as is the indicator stalk, rear wiper and cruise control. I can't here any motor trying to run when moving the stalk.
Presume this could be a failed motor? Thanks for you help inadvance [/quote]
I would start by removing the motor and checking the voltage at the connector, if you need a wiring diagram let me know and I can send one over.
When mine failed on my C4 it was actually the stalk which had failed.
MC
This is the bit you are interested in:
Unfortunately the exact operation of the motor isn't clear, but it looks like:
Brown wire is the ground
Black / Yellow should be permanent 12v
Green and Black/White are switched live from the stalk
Brown / White is switched live from the intermittent control
If you have rain sensing then:
Black/Green and Black/Red are switched live from the stalk
Brown is earth
Black/Brown looks like permanent 12v from control unit, but not sure
I would start by checking for volts on the switched live when the lights are set to be on.
MC
Yes, there are a few details on here about me removing and checking mine.

Wiper and washer not working would point to the stalk or associated wiring as prime suspect, rather than the wiper motor. If you push forward with the headlights on, do the headlight washers work?
Update, so I've stripped down to the wiper motor, tested for voltage to the motor, to which there was no power supply. However there are 2 additional pins which do have power, I've moved the connection on to these pins and the motor is driving.
I've had a look in the paper and found evidence of a replacement motor (2nd hand) looks like it hadn't been plugged back in correctly 😳
And now let's put it all back together ðŸ‘
