Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'm putting together a a list of parts for when i have my car mapped, but i'm stuck at injectors. The car is a X50 with the K24's. I have DO88 Intercoolers, Miltek Turbo Back Exhaust with Sports Cats, Turbosmart Divertor Valves and Turbosmart Wastegate Actuators. I do not want to go down the 5 bar Fuel Pressure Regulator route. I want to fit the correct size injectors for the power that could be made from K24's on pump fuel and stock Fuel Pressure. Any suggestions??

POST 2Original post

I didn't change my FPR...but did change my fuel pump (walbro). You will probably also need different spark plugs gapped correctly. As regards injectors...I did idx1050 and they flow too much and made the tune complicated. So I wouldn't go over about 80lbs. My best advice would be ask your tuner...they are going to prefer to work with certain setups and that will result in a better outcome. Cheers, Karl

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

What spec was your car? And who mapped it?

POST 4Original post

Mine is a 2004 turbo tiptronic coupe. I added: Kline exhaust with 100 cell cats Id1050x injectors ( I think these are over 100lbs - bad choice). Gt2rs intercoolers Denson 3245 plugs (gapped to 0.25 ) Walbro 450gst pump Tial billet a28s (old school larger turbo) I had it tuned by Nine Excellence. I'd definitely start with a tuner before buying any more parts as they will prefer to advise on spec/parts.

POST 5Original post

I used 72lb for billet turbos. Use ASNU injectors, they have a good spray pattern. I had Injector Dynamics, but they have a terrible pattern so I binned them.
