Hi, has anyone fitted PF 08's or 11's for just "fast road".

I ran PFC 08 as track pads for a while (standard pagid pads from ECP were switched in for Road use).

Thanks, have used DS2500's loads in the past on previous cars, definitely a good option.

Have already replaced the calliper hard pipes and flexible hoses with braided so hopefully that should be everything.

I'm finding the standard Brembo pads a bit lacking therefore RPM Technik are going to replace the fluid with some PF "racing" fluid and upgrade the pads.

Any other alternatives would be appreciated please, its just for fun at the weekends therefore not too bothered about wear or dust, but it is just for fast road - not track therefore ideally don't want them to squeal so much.
I ran PFC 08 as track pads for a while (standard pagid pads from ECP were switched in for Road use). I'm currently trying RSL29 for track, these do seem to have a bit more bite than the pfc.
I usually swap my track pads out for regular pagids, but occasionally the PFC 08 would get left in. They worked perfectly fine on the road, no issues with cold braking, but they do squeal quite bad unless they've had a good hammering on track. They go quiet on track but after a few weeks of road use they get squealy again.
To be honest I'm surprised you need more braking power on the street, i think you only get the most from an extreme pad like that while absolutely hammering the brakes and when you're on the limit. Personally I feel that you would have to be driving too close to the limit for road driving to make the most of the PFC, especially when you consider the cost differential.

Coincidentally I decided on RSL29's in the end, should be arriving tomorrow and will try and fit them Monday. Hopefully along with RPM fitting some uprated PF fluid they should both improve things.
