I've read at a few specialist sites that the dessicator (dryer) from the aircon system should be changed every few years. Does anyone know where this is located and is it part of the refrigeration cycle or the fresh air system? I'm about to change one of my condensers so figured at take advantage before I have the system recharged. its under the n/s panel where pollen filter is under bonnet.... below the panel where you fill your screen wash..... in all my time at opc i never changed one don't know why but never did.... but its there anyway hope it helps :thumb:

The dryer only works on the air con circuit, not fresh air. Conventional wisdom is to change them when the circuit has been drained of gas and exposed to atmospheric air, eg. in this case of changing the condensor rad. They're not expensive.
