Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

12 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

2 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

don't take the P155 out of this post please but i parked close to a large wireless camera last month and i couldn't lock my car - tried for ages, when i moved it to the other end of the car park it locked first time! Subsequent visits to the same place show i can lock my car at one end of the car park but not the other! Could this just be coincidence - it's happenned on at least 10 occasions and now i park on one side of the car park only! has anyone else experienced anything like this?

POST 2Original post

Sounds like a conspiracy theory to me. You're not related to Mel Gibson are you? :?:

POST 3Original post

as daft as it sounds yes.. when i worked at opc i locked a cayenne up in the car park handed the keys back to customer and away she went oh no straight back in saying my key fob doesn't work mmmm i thought went out with her and she was right , not working didn't think anything of it until i tried again it worked then rac man started messing with his truck again cayenne stopped locking... his remote for tail lift was blocking cayenne key fob as i asked him to stop operating it it worked until he started messing again .

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

no conspiracy theory then! thanks for adding credibility to my post mate. it's strange but true!

POST 5Original post

I have the same problem in one the soho ncp's. I have to literally put the fob to the window to get it to lock.

POST 6Original post

is this just an excuse for parking in the furthest darkest corner of a car park, probably next to stan collymore...? :hand:

POST 7Original post

While on the subject of remote locking can someone tell me why the effective range is longer if you hold the fob to your head.

POST 8Original post

The range is actually the longest if you use your spine to channel the rays and focus them. to do this, simply insert the key into either of the orifices at either end of your spine and press the button. You need to point whichever orifice is free at the car, as thats where the rays are channelled out of. honest.

POST 9Original post

Does it make a difference if you stand on one leg?

POST 10Original post

Yes, you will probably fall over and damage the car Dave. Would need more than dent removal for that :floor:

POST 12 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

makes you wonder what all these wireless signals are doing to us day by day anyway dunt it? Come to think of it I have noticed that parts of me don't work as well as they used to --- or is that just because I've turned 40 now :?:
