Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

changing the wheel wasn't easy either - had to sit on my arse facing the tyre with feet at 3 oclock and 9 o'clock wobbling it to get it free, quite a struggle.
Leading evidence: 'Replace wheel wasn't easy either - had' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Replace wheel wasn't easy either - had' (1 discussions). Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Driving through Ilkley the other day and got a puncture. Pulled over, put the "get you home tyre on" and then tried to get the flat tyre back in the same space - problem! Good job i didn't have a passenger with me cos the flat tyre and wheel certainly dominates the passenger seat ..... or have i had a "muppet moment" and missed something obvious?
top tips! like the bin bag one as my normal sized carrier bag didn't do a great job! however, thankfully it was a dry day and so there was very little dirt on the tyre. it had a 1 inch cut on the inside back left which also damaged the tyre wall so it was a £250 tyre replacement sadly! :nooo:
changing the wheel wasn't easy either - had to sit on my arse facing the tyre with feet at 3 oclock and 9 o'clock wobbling it to get it free, quite a struggle. Once off it was easy enough though.
I sliced the sidewall of a brand new (200 miles) Goodyear from rim to tread, avoiding a white van man who decided not to bother with the give way part of a traffic calming scheme. Still got the tyre - it makes a lovely (£200) anti-spill holder for a horses water bucket!
I've got a great plan for my remaining tyre - I brought it home with me, it's still got plenty of tread on it and it's going to be a low drinks table in my pool (cue and ball pool that is) room! All i ned is a round piece of glass and I'm sorted!
I've got some very lazy advice that you would expect from a 997 owner. If you have a warranty, call Porsche Assist!
I got a puncture recently pulling onto my drive, realised the next morning when flat so called Porsche Assist.
They came out straight away, identified that it wasn't fixable. Put their space saver on the car, he called around some local tyre centres, found the right tyre and then took my rim to them. I got a call a few hours later to say it was ready so went to get the wheel changed and left the space saver at the tyre place for Porsche Assist to pick it up later.
