Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have tried searching for an answer and I can only find answers I don't like, BUT will a 19x11 et 40, with a 305/30R19 tire fit a stock NB C4 cab without any rubbing. Thinking about lowering it also. I have a chance on some nice wheels but want to make sure they will fit without issues.

POST 2Original post

I don't think so... I think they'll stick out too far. I had 19x11 with 67 ET and they fit perfect on my 99 C2 with 305/30's.

POST 3Original post

It's worth mentioning that if you do some searching you will find many users were unhappy with going to a 19" wheel.

POST 4Original post

+1 on that being unhappy with 19". That size wheel is heavy, unless you spend a ton of money and maybe even still. Unsprung wight really hurt's the suspension's ability to do it's job. It's amazing how much stiffer you can spring a car and have it feel livable on lightweight 18s. Aesthetics are personal. But mine came with 997 19s from the PO and I thought it looked like it was riding high on wagon wheels... That said the 997 wheels were were 19 x 8 with 57 ET and 19 x 11 with 67 ET. Never had rubbing issues when running 235/35 and 295/30. I wouldn't run 295 rears again unless I had a LOT more front tire. This was an understeer setup.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

thanks for the responses guys. Again, I didn't want to hear the answer that I knew but from the calculator they will definitely stick out too much. Also, based on everyone's advice, maybe I will lower first and see how it rides on the 18" then consider the 19's. It is my daily with the two kids, don't want to make it too uncomfortable.

POST 7Original post

Personally I like the 19's better than 18's but where I live the roads are pretty stinkin smooth... if I lived in the land of potholes I'd have 17's on.

POST 8Original post

I had 19x11.5 with 315/25/19 and 19x8.5 with 235/35/19 on lowered row car, but dont remember the et
