Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

So new to the wheel spacer world. Tonytwo has 4 15mm Spacers with bolts that I am contemplating buying, but want to know if they will fit first. What info do you need or what do I need to do to check? I just lowered the car with H&R Sport Springs and have OEM wheels. As always, thanks in advance!

POST 2Original post

I put 15mm spacers on mine, with 18" wheels, Bilstein B8 struts/shocks, H&R sport springs. They fit fine. No problem with the wheel arches.

POST 3Original post

I have the same spacers on my C2. My left front wheel rubbed the inner well a little with Michelin Pilots, but not with my Sumi's. Rubbing was minimal and of no consequence. Only happened when I was turning ALL the way left.

I've got Michelin PSS on mine as well. Turning the wheels to full stop in either direction, they will slightly contact the plastic wheel well liners. This obviously isn't a problem while driving, but can be while parking/maneuvering...

POST 5Original post

I installed 15mm spacers on the rears on my C4 with 18" Twists. They push the Evo2's out enough to fill the fenders nicely without looking goofy. Be careful for the first few weeks after you add your spacers. I had my 7mm spacers on for just a day or two when I clipped a curb and creased the barrel on my passenger rear wheel. Turns out the wheel model was discontinued so long ago that no replacements were available...so one $30 7mm spacer and not being sufficiently aware of where the wheel tracked after the spacer went in cost me an entire set of wheels.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hard lesson to learn for sure. Thanks for the info, sounds like they should fit just right.
