Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Leading evidence: 'Use these' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Use these' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Tried that and although it made it better, it did not cure the problem totally.
The wiper blades that are on my C4S are pretty pants, the rear one squeaks like mad and the fronts leave grease marks
I have read a lot of good things about these "flat" ones but thought I'd ask the question on here first
What are the best in your experience and where to get them from?
Cheers :worship:

Plus these one's look a bit "manky" and on my nice shiny new 911 I'd like new ones :hand: :floor:
JZ Mactech replaced my front wiper blades a month ago and they work very well - give them a call and I'm sure they could tell you which ones they fit.

Hi gilford, I put these on the front a while ago and they work very well.
Quite strange till you get used to them as they are totally silent

On a 996 they are just normal blades , nothing special.
Measure the length , or take them with you , and walk to your local car parts shop , and get BOSCH blades.
A bit more pricey than cheaper ones , but worth the extra money.
And your noise is gone !
I haven't used anything but Bosch blades in my Porsches , ever.
Seen some other ones for sale , much cheaper , but you get what you pay....

I only ever fit PIAA silicone wipers to my cars - they are superb. No rubber involved.
Trust me.
Here's a cheap place (free postage)

I've used this outlet in the past. Very fast postage as well.

Which look the same as one already mentioned?
Go to your nearest GSF retailer, German, Swedish and French - they supply Bosch blades which are great!
I use these on my fleet and swear by them!
Ray
