Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I know all this because I've been thinking of getting all mine renewed (already has M030, but after 100,000 miles!)
Leading evidence: 'Replace (already has m030' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Replace (already has m030' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Morning,
I've had my standard Carrera (C2) for 8 months now and I'm beginning to think about lowering and stiffening the suspension.
Could someone explain to me what is required please? is it a simple spring change? are stiffer anti roll bars available? My one concern is whether or not mods of this type combined with the 18" alloys would make it a bit of a bone shaker on the road, but equally I enjoy the odd track day and appreciate that you can't have a set-up that's perfect for both. On a purely visual level I also wouldn't mind if the car sat at least 20mm lower than standard ...
An idea of potential costs would also be really helpful and any additional thoughts more than welcome.
Sorry if these are age old questions!
Many Thanks
Assuming you are currently on standard suspension, what about going the M030 route? This is a Porsche option (factory or Techquipment) and lowers the car by 10mm with slightly stiffer springs and stiffer anti-roll bars.
D911 sells the complete kit (including anti-roll bars) for €995 I think (was the last time I looked anyway) and it's about 4-5 hours to fit it by an Indy (so say £250-300) and then you'll need a geo (anything between £80-£200 depending on who does it and how much adjustment is required).
I know all this because I've been thinking of getting all mine renewed (already has M030, but after 100,000 miles!)
I recently did this to my C2 cabrio. It now has M030 dampers and eibach -30mm springs. The look is improved (I will eventually post piccys) and it is a harder ride - noticeable but not a big deal, and my passenger didnt notice so it cant be that bad). I did it to achieve: better looks, better handling on my 2 trackdays p.a., more planted feel on longer drives. So far, 200m, I think its a great success.
You can buy the M030 pack for c.£550, which is awesome value. Check out porscheshop, who advertise on here, or the usual 911 places. In the pack you get thicker/stiffer anti roll bars. When doing the work, why not do your front track control arm bushes as well? they wear out and need doing eventually, so get them done at the same time if you can afford it. Hartech do refurb'd track control arms for £140 each I think (you need 2).
Enjoy.
Many thanks for the replies.
Those part costs actually sound very reasonable, looks like the MO30 upgrades may just hit the spot!
Appreciate your help.
How has the lowering guys impacted (no pun intended :floor: ) living with speed humps?
With my Cargraphics Front Spoiler which is no lower than the original Bumper, but because it projects forward I also get problems with steep ramps as well.
