reason i ask is i've just adjusted the top part of mine to sit up and now worried that i can't lock the spoiler retainer bracket? up and don't fancy it leaving me at high speed original mount has swivel pin and lock screw, but after adjusting, the lock screw won't line up it left the factory with the lock screw there i was just wanting an opinion if alright to run without, or do i drill and tap another hole for the screw to line up to can't see a way it could become loose or move, apart from spoiler legs really moving apart at speed and centre section falling out , but just want to ask in case cheers again guys andy

have had a good look at all the other peep's cars and they seem to be same as i've left mine could you do me a favour though dan have a look at the mounting bracket on the spoiler and see if you can see the signs of two rubber washers between the spoiler leg and side of top deck ( black bit on show in pic ) you will have the two bolts going up the way on underside of spoiler, so just to the side of them cheers mate andy

When I pulled mine apart to make it adjustable you have to lose a couple of securing bits, I know I had to lose one set of black washers.... can't remember. What looks logical is what you do put it that way.... Like me you'll be trying to get both holes to align and then you'll realise you don't need to...

yup jeff, that about sums it up. Just wanted to check with those who had changed it. Don't like having bits left over, had too many ' ah thats what that bit was for ' moments in the past lol
