Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I rebuilt my engine and replaced the clutch. Now I think the linkage is messed up because I had all gears but reverse. Then 2/4/6 no just 2??? Someone please help me. Also the engine was running great now there is a bunch of misfires after putting 50 miles on it? Thoughts?

POST 2Original post

Your cables have popped off at the transmision probably.... assuming you set up the shifter correctly. The clips there aren't great. As far as your engine troubles go, I would talk to the man who "rebuilt" your motor. Your post does not have the tone of a DIY engine builder, so I am assuming it wasn't you. If it was then you're going to have to go back through what you did. Cam timing would be a good start. What was wrong with the engine that caused you to rebuild it? How well was it running for those first 50 miles?
