Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I got my 1999 911 about 3 months ago. I disconnected the battery, and found that my radio no longer works. I just keeps asking for CODE. So,I got out the owners manual, and could not fins the code. I did find a 4 digit number, hand written in the back, but it did not work.. The radio is a Becker, model# R3297 ,, and the number I entered was 0947 Does anyone have any insight on this issue?? You can txt me at [phone removed] or leave message here.. Thank you

POST 2Original post

Contact your local dealer and give the car VIN to get the radio code. Sometimes, the 4 digit code is entered on the sticker on the underside of the hood (by hand) by the service techs at the dealer. If the radio was ever changed out from original, then you need the serial number from the radio to get the code.

POST 3Original post

Dealer should hopefully supply when you provide VIN. They can also supply the rest of the programming codes for the car. However, once you enter the code it can be changed, if that has happened the original will not work. Cheers
