Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi I am running and have for the past 3 years 200cell cats. I have replaced the rear o2 sensors and fitted a combination of straight and 90degree spacers. I still get on occasions a cel for poor cat efficiency on bank 2. Wandering if that cat has deteriorated? Anyway, if I unscrew the sensor and tie it up with steel ties and then plug the sensor hole will this stop the cels or will it cause other cels and or poor running? Thank you

POST 2Original post

No, doing that will actually cause more CEL's; if you have a cat efficiency code, you need different cats........
