This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have a c4s, wanna put the wing switch the turbo has on the dash. Seems like it should be easy enough to do given there is a blank already and an existing switch that fits the bill, question is the electrics to connect to the switch. The switch for the wing down in the fuse box, is it easy enough to just splice that switch ? Out of curiosity does the turbo have the wing switch in the fuse box still ?

POST 3Original post

I did this on my (departed) 986. I wanted to keep everything as functional as possible, which meant that I snipped the spade connectors off of the fuse box switch and added in a second set of wires when new connectors were crimped on. As I had the dash out already, running the wire bundle was easy peasy. Tapped into a nearby switch for illumination and it worked perfectly.
