Issue is only that if you have a flat you can't get the wheel off/on without specialist kit.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

All, found a turbo I like, finally one without the sports suspension, but with lots of other goodies, don't really want centrelock/PCCB also power way too much anyway, can't see a reason for me to chase an 's'. Not worried about perception. Anything else to be thinking about. The one I'm looking at is 2021 and diff between advertised and WBAC is £28k which is pretty good at this level of car.
Great choice. Turbo a great if you don't want pccb. Can always be tuned to S+ power and torque if you want to. The only other feature to consider that the S has is PDCC but personally I can see pros and cons of that, so not something to miss.
No must-have options in my opinion. Basically everything is standard.
I'm aligned with the previous post. Biggest differentiator between Turbo / S are PCCB and C/L wheels. Agree, there are no real must have options on the Turbo, but there are some good ones I'd be looking for or at least considering :
- Matrix lights
- 18w seats (14w standard on the Turbo)
- surround view - well worth it to reduce the risk of damaging those expensive forged wheels
- sports exhaust seems a popular option but the car doesn't sound particularly good with or without it
- front lift - not essential but it's handy for me driving on and off the GB/Ireland ferries
- a bit of carbon in the interior looks well
A consideration is the PCM system. MY21 is PCM5 which can't be updated to run Android Auto. This was changed from MY22+. So when you say a 2021, I assume you mean registration year. Do you know the model year? If it's an OPC listing it will be stated.
Turbo can be a bit colour sensitive - more reserved colours seem to sell better i.e. GT silver, agate, black, crayon compared to python, shark which seem to sit for longer and possibly more suited to a GT product. That said, if you're intending to keep for a few years, just buy a colour you like
I have a spreadsheet with all the priced options. It's MY23 but I doubt MY21/22 will be much different. Send me a PM/email if you'd like it.
It’s this one …

Had been looking at pcm version, the url actually says my22 so maybe ok, would want latest pcm
Much appreciated.
But it has centrelocks, you said you didn’t want those.. I would want the Turbo for not having Ceramics and Centre locks, so this with Centre Locks is kind of in no man’s land on resale value and want..
Good point hadn’t noticed the centre lock wheels. Not end of world but as you say for me it’s not an upgrade, depends if others are bothered, not that I’m buying for resale, prob just means mostly stuck with opc when it comes to tyres, opc is 5 miles away so no hardship there (apart from financially). Might worry me if went euro tour.
… edit …. Just thinking is it actually any worse in practice ?

Nice. You can buy centre lock removal tools. Maybe have one in the boot.
Issue is only that if you have a flat you can't get the wheel off/on without specialist kit. So you're on a flatbed to someone who has the kit. That said you're not changing a wheel on a 5 stud either so in practice not sure what exact circumstance this solves. Think I'd carry gunk and pump to see if could get it to limp along.

This is not correct. You would need a good breaker bar - I would think most roadside tyre people would have.
If you have one, then the wheel can be taken off and put back on road side if a mobile tyre person was there without any 'specialist kit'. There is a procedure in the manual to follow. You will at somepoint need to do check the torque though after.
The tyre weld would be your first option anyhow and no spare on the 911...
I could live without sports exhaust and agree the looks are equally appealing, what I can't find many of is are those who have not ticked the -10mm lowered suspension as I want the comfort.

I drove 'normal' and -10mm cars. I found the difference very marginal. Tyre and tyre pressures made a bigger difference. -10 looked a bit better, too.
Tyres make all the difference.
Mine (991.2 turbo minus 10 lowered) came with 5 year old Pirellis that were short on grip, noisy, harsh ride, just horrible.
Swopped out for MPS4S and the tyres transformed the car completely.
That and a trip to Center Gravity.
That's super helpful as suspect if I buy a 71 plate car the tyres will be getting on a bit so maybe if not on PS4's then I can change them. Worst case is if a car came with Pzeros and brand new
Rather than the Turbo or Turbo S, this cropped up for sale, Not many of theseTurbo 50 Years models have hit the used market.

I started looking at 992.2 and now getting a bit of inflation so looking at turbo’s but that’s another step up. The turbo s does seem to hold its value which whilst not everything does help.
Any clue when these are out? Ordering something for a year or twos time. Possibly a GT3 touring. I think turbo more usuable.
Just sold my 992 S (in lieu of company car) and will then switch a 110 HSE Defender for a 911

I just bought a Turbo S. I’d note that you might want to drive one with ceramics before committing. They are very good.

They have built quite a lot of 992s -
