Thinking about fitting a Sports Exhaust but don't want an ear spliting one. Has anyone fitted one/ reccommend one or should I just leave as is? If anyone has fitted one and live in Lancs would love to hear it, if poss. Thanks.

Yep! Not as easy to bypass the 30-50mph 'off' as the 996 though.

Definitely considering it, but on the other hand I think I might be better off saving my pennies for a while and getting an exhaust system that boosts performance a little, like the Milltek High Flow. But then I probably couldn't turn one of those on and off and of course there are also insurance issues to put in the mix. I'm guessing that the PSE would not affect premiums, but the Milltek High Flow would. Decisions, decisions :?: Clive

With a 3rd party you'll lose all the money paid, with the PSE you'll recoup £1k-1.5k on resale, it's one of those essential options. The PSE is of course a factory fitted option.......that's what you say to your insurance company

I had mine factory fitted so it works with the Sport button. Absolutely love it, could do with being a little bit louder as I'm too used to it now. I very nearly didn't spec this Optional Extra and it was someone else that persuaded me to go for it, so glad I took the advice. :thumb:
