Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

40 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 1 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 2Original post

post #6: https://rennlist.com/forums/996-foru...adio-code.html EDIT: disregard above, you already know your serial #. Have you tried the dealer with your VIN?? Or you can try this: http://www.renntech.org/forums/topic...adio-code-faq/

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

POST 4Original post

Turn counterclockwise and hold the **** by the speedometer until it changes from km to miles or vice versa. Couple seconds should do it.

Thanks DT that worked

POST 6Original post

Did you try this? http://www.a2dvoices.com/realitycheck/porsche/ Says your code is 8436 Or call Becker, or go to the dealer. Most dealers will do it for free.

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yes I was trying that but wouldn't work on either of my lap tops, Thanks I'll give that code you found for me a try

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks 02, that code worked and stereo is rocking. Rennlist is awesome. On my way to whistler some twisty roads ahead and a hot blond in the passenger seat, staying at the Hilton , thanx to her Hilton points, then paragliding in pemberton BC tomorrow

POST 9Original post

Glad to help. I had some radio and nav code issues that drove me crazy. Enjoy!

POST 10Original post

I asked at RennTech but didn't get an answer, so I sprung for the paid code solution with a UK company ($14 and change). Punched in the code ('02 with Bose) and got a happy display with FM and all other modes fully functioning... except for one thing... silence. no sound at all out of the speakers. My research says the '02/Bose combination means MOST aka fiberoptic connections. I have a huge (and spendy) punch list for my new-to-me car and a $1300+ stereo upgrade is not in the cards. I may have to actually buy a Bose amp.:-( I have always despised Bose ( No highs? No lows? Must be Bose! ) But I need my tunes. P.S. My mechanic - who used to work at a dealership - tells me the dealers he works with no longer give out codes but refer customers to paid sites like the one I used.

POST 11Original post

Now that you have the code try this to see if it will reboot the amp. Pull both entertainment system fuses, D8 - D9. Give it ~15 seconds and plug them back in.

POST 12Original post

I can't get to this site on any of my computers either. Can someone look up at code for a CDR-210 in a 1999 C2 serial # W5018297

http://www.a2dvoices.com/realitycheck/porsche/ since you tried, here it is try\ 6548 5448 5458 if none of those work, ping me If you have misplaced your radio card, this decoder may eliminate the need to visit the porsche dealer or contact Becker [ www.beckerautosound.com] . To find your serial number, you need to look on the back of the radio or select the information mode on the radio. CR-222: Press TP until the radio name appears. Then use the right tuning **** to scroll to the serial number. CR-210: Press tone, then hold both the '0' & '8' buttons until the radio name appears. Then scroll to PR-VERSION using the tuning arrow. Now you should be able to retrieve the serial number by selecting the station preset numbers. *** NOTE 1: If you enter the wrong code too many times, the radio will display a 'WAIT' penalty. The more times you select the wrong code, the longer the wait time [max 1 hour with engine on]. Sometimes, turning the key on and off will clear the wait. *** NOTE 2: Upon entering the anti-theft code in the radio, you may need to enter the code. - CR/CDR-210, enter code by pushing the signal seek switch - CDR-220, the code is automatically entered after the 4th digit *** NOTE 3: These codes do not work for PCM Navigation or CDR-23 radio. CDR-23 radio code is entered into the car with durametrics tool
