Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi all, I am looking at putting some new headers on my engine as the originals are rather rotten, anyone have any experience of these on Ebay? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ws/eBayIS...230781453016&ssPageName=ADME:B:WNASIF:GB:1123 Alasdair

POST 2Original post

I just came onto the PCGB forum for a bit of advice and found that my first post could be to give advice. There are some known issues with some ebay headers and they are the two things you wouldn't want from new headers, loss of power and bad fitment. Porsche developed the standard exhaust to give as much power as possible under the constraints and aftermarket headers would have to be good to compete. A pair of standard used ones might be best. They do look good though.

POST 3Original post

I think the only issue with them (Although I have no personal experience) is the finishing. The fitments to flange and entrance needs beveling other than that I think there ok and worth a punt for that sort of money.

POST 4Original post

I have a spare pair of stock headers/manifolds if you want to make me an offer?

POST 5Original post

hi i have fitted a pair of ebay headers with no fitting issues in fact the quality is far above what you would expect for the price and they do look far better than the standard ones
