Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi all, My indicator stalk has stopped self-cancelling on left signal and would not stay on on right signal. I would attempt to replace it myself. I have a 3-stalk switch (with OBC; no cruise) but as the 3-stalk one is 3 times the price of the 2-stalk version, I am thinking of buying the 2-stalk and then transfer the existing OBC stalk over to the new unit. However, I have a couple of questions. 1) Do I have to cut and solder the OBC stalk wiring to the 2-stalk version? Or it is just plug and play? 2) As I shall be unplugging the airbag, would the airbag light comes up afterwards and do I need Porsche to reset the system? 3) As I shall be disconnecting the battery, what do I need to reset / recode afterwards? (Windows, etc.) Many thanks Garry
