I unfortunately have no OPC warrenty but would think about having the 111 point check before putting it to market.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hi everyone,
I am thinking about potentially putting my car on the market in the next couple of months due to getting married! (ahhhhh i hear you all say!) It is going to be killing me to get rid of it but i have been doing some nosing around recently and the prices seem to really really vary.
I know it is impossible to give a value without pictures but i was hoping for a few possible suggestions. Right here are the main specs
2000 / W Carrera 4 with full factory fitted GT3 kit
GT3 wheels
53,000 miles
Midnight Blue
Full black leather interior
Fabspeed Muffler bypass pipes (and still have the stock boxes)
Think these are the main things. I am thinking around the £26k mark, well hoping for considering how much i bought it for!!!!
Thanks
Northway have a lovely looking 1999 car with 60k miles. Silver.
C4 with Aerokit
£23K
So for private sale, newer car with less miles - same price??
Before I looked I felt that £26K was too strong.
Just my opinion, I'm not an early 996 expert.
Whoops!
Full Porsche Service History, with the last one being in Feb 08. MOT is till December but passed with flying colours last time!
I unfortunately have no OPC warrenty but would think about having the 111 point check before putting it to market. How much would this cost?
Just over a grand for the check and the wty I'd imagine. Your OPC may throw the check in for free given its got a full OPC history. I'd also be amazed if you didn't need to attend to some things before they'd wty it.
It will certainly make the car more attractive to a buyer.
996 values sadly are declining like they are linked to the £! I was offered £23k for my 02 C4S with 53k miles as a trade in (which even in the current climate is a bit cheeky and I told them where to stick it, but it does show the climate we're in)
Good luck with the nuptials 8) - shame the 911 has to go and make sure your Mrs-to-be understands the sacrifice
Thanks for all the suggestions. Going to be heart breaking to get rid of her as i really dont want too!
Just one more thing, would people advise to sell her with the muffler bypass pipes on or not? They obviously make a wicked noise but they are increibly loud and dont know if they would put the buyers off?
I have the original boxes plus i have just bought nice and shiny turbo tips for them, which will look nice. I know i need a PSE to go with the tips but that is never going to happen when the missus is looking at £2k dress'!
Thanks
The exhaust won't add to the value of the car, but will sell for ££. I'd put the originals back on, you could offer the fabspeed pipes to a buyer for extra, or as a sweetener in the negotiations.
