Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi, Trying to fit my wife's old Becker CDR22 from a 2000 Boxster into my 2003 996 to replace my CDR23 which appears to have broken. The wiring connections appear to be different . Can anyone confirm if it is possible to fit the CDR22. Thanks in advance! Chris

You could get it to work however your CD Changer (if fitted won't be compatible) won't work and if your car has an amp from the hi-fi upgrade neither will that From the presence of a CDR23 you have a MOST equipped car where all the devices are connected via fibre-optic, your best bet is to locate a replacement CDR23 and have your OPC code it to work with your car.
