Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 1 excluded by outcome qualification · 1 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

I am seeing this issue where my bumper light bar is giving a fault. I think it's the LED bar this fault from the cluster is referring to? Can anyone help with this issue? You can see in the photo that the light bar is on though. I have no idea why it's giving the fault on the cluster. Also, how is the light replaced? Does the bumper need to come off?

POST 2Original post

Check your side marker light. I was getting this same error, and it was a failing side maker.

POST 3Original post

I thought it was that. So I swapped the LH side marker for the RH. The code stayed on the front left I also replaced the bulb to see if the code would go away. It didn't That's why I posted. I figured I must be wrong about the light being the side marker. I tried using my Foxwell nt510 to activate the bumper light in my photo, and it got a fault though. So I guess I need to replace it? How does it get replaced? Does the bumper need to come off?

POST 4Original post

If it is anything like my Audi , the resistance can just be out of spec and it just periodically checks for a resistance value. On my other car, it was frustrating since everything worked, but it Just didn’t like what it was seeing. After a lot of trouble shooting, I just ended up changing the lamp housing which fixed it on the Audi . Not sure about the Porsche , though. Fortunately I haven’t seen that fault, yet.

POST 5Original post

Same issue here! Light works, but fault shows on the cluster.

POST 7Original post

In a frustrating turn of events, this problem hasn't gone away, but also I haven't had any instances of the code happening in the last 3 weeks.. So I have no idea what the issue is ultimately. If any new instances of the code coming back, I'll update this thread
