Just did a thing. Thus far in my life I've done basic maintenance only. When I had piston-valve contact I figured this was my chance. Worst case I part it out. Now to tear it down, replace the block, put it back together, and figure out how to get it back in. Maybe I'm only 10% there... Engine ...and transmission

Yup, that is about 10% done. Two days to disassemble the engine 4 months waiting for LNE to redo the case. 40 hours to build up the new engine Two more days to put the thing back in.

(Take a lot of pictures!) 2 days (cumulative) running to the parts store for that bolt you can't find. 2 weeks (cumulative) waiting for those other parts you didn't think would need replacing but it turns out they do.
