Hi all, there have been a few other threads regarding the frunk light but none that I can see help resolve my issue – The light does not come on when I solely open the frunk (either by key-fob or by the release button on the sill. I originally tried replacing the bulb and then the actual light unit itself and checked the fuse. I then tried contact-cleaner spraying all the terminals, latch mechanism with switch (although I couldn't actually see the switch) and also the boot light terminals. The strange thing is that I found it will come on when I then also have the boot open....?! Have double-checked (by using my phone to video) that both lights go off when the boot and frunk are closed. So - the bulb and unit are working fine but for some strange reason it only comes one if the boot is also open.............. Any ideas please? Thanks, Mark

Normal to have it illuminate with the boot open .. they are linked .. The micro switch in the front bonnet lock is not working .. i often flick the lock closed and open to try and free it off .. if not then probably a new lock required as i don't think the micro switch comes separately . Wiring connection is behind the carpet the other side of the lock .. you can unplug it and test the micro switch with an ohmmeter .
