Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Basically the a/c stopped, replaced compressor then the drier before replacing the condensers on this 26 year old machine with 140k.

Then flushed individually with, (we use R11 for flushes, but you can use lots and lots of high-quality brake clean sprayed in and nitrogen to blow/dry it out from both ends.
Leading evidence: 'Replace compressor' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Clean sprayed in and nitrogen' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

do you mean some beads might have fell/entered/been run into the system..?

Suggestion
If you are using compressed air try to use a air compressor with a air drier so not to introduce moisture into system.
These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

In replacing the drier I tipped it over and a few beads fell out. Is this normal or is there a chance that these beads can enter the system and cause damage?
Basically the a/c stopped, replaced compressor then the drier before replacing the condensers on this 26 year old machine with 140k. So before the system recharge I thought to ask the question just in case.
Well, without really understanding exactly what you mean by "tipped it over and a few beads fell out" .
Was this the new drier or the old one..? do you mean some beads might have fell/entered/been run into the system..? If so do NOT start the compressor up.
drier beads/desiccant falling out, or circulating through the system indicates a catastrophic failure of the filter drier internal components
An automotive filter drier/receivers desiccant beads are fully contained between a top and bottom screen/stainless steel plate, many style driers have a spring to keep everything compressed tight.
In addition to the metal screens, filter pads/mesh screen material is used to trap debris as small as 20 microns.
If desiccant has been circulating through the system, a total complete clean out is needed along with TXV changed out or risk a compressor failure.
Assume this is the old drier..? What end of drier does descant fall out of..?
Do Both, anything less is a big gamble.
All lines/hoses disconnected at both ends, all coils/evaps/condensers disconnected at both ends. Then flushed individually with, (we use R11 for flushes, but you can use lots and lots of high-quality brake clean sprayed in and nitrogen to blow/dry it out from both ends. If you are using compressed air try to use a air compressor with a air drier so not to introduce moisture into system.
When blowing it/flushing it out, wrap a clean white rag around end of tubes/evap/cond coils and see what blows out into the rag. Keep flushing/blowing till rag comes out clean.
Thats what I'd do.
