Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi, after a engine damage i want to change the 2,5 engine to a 3,2. I`ve bought the 3,2 now. Is anyone there who have done this before? Can anybody help me please? Sorry for my english-i`m living in austria(europ) regards, michael

POST 2Original post

Michael- I'd say your best bet is to talk to your local dealers/shops and see who can help you out. I'm not sure if you're asking for help to do this on your own or not. You'd want to find someone that's done the switch before, or is very familar with the car. If you're simply asking if it can be done, sure it can be done. Other than that, good luck! Let us know how it goes.

Contact Tool Pants, a member of this forum, he is without doubt the Porsche Boxster Guru supreme. I am sure he can help you. You will love the change in engines. The S 3.2 engine does a lot for the performance of this car.
