Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

Hi Folks. I have a 2014 Boxster which unfortunately has suffered the indignity of spilled coffee on the center dash. Did the best job we could of mopping up all the fluid. But now all the buttons and switches that control temp, fan speed, AC, temp synch, etc, are sticking. The electrical connections are ok, but they are very sluggish, and sometimes won't depress all the way, or snap back. I've talked to the dealer, and they want $1000 just for the replacement buttons, as they all come together. I think it really would just require me to remove them, clean off the gunk, and replace them. So question: How do I remove the climate control buttons in my 2014 Boxster ? Thanks in advance....
