Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Morning, I'm going to do the disks and pads on my 04 C2.2. Is it possible to tell which size of anti vibration shims you need for the back callipers without taking them off? It looks like there are 28mm and 30mm available. Cheers Dave

POST 2Original post

On my C4S (C2 should be the same) rear callipers there are two sizes for each 28mm and 30mm i.e. each calliper has four pistons 2 x 28mm and 2 x 30mm. Hope that helps.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks for that. I can see that now. Odd that the OPC parts guy didn't know that! Cheers Dave

Fair enough. I'll return them if they aren't needed. Cheers all for your input. Dave
