This is not a probability of success.

I needed a set quickly and eBay had these to my door in 2 days or so, the seller was close.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

There is a guy selling them on the marketplace, literally same ones as on ebay for slightly more... don't ask how I came to that conclusion. They will fit, just shove them in. Not genuine Porsche; if you want true OEM you would have to buy from the dealer or Suncoast or as Woodman71 said Sunset Porsche.
The "refurbished", knockoffs or whatever they are, are very good but not perfect. The ones I got were made in Italy, supposedly, and were very close to the originals with the only noticeable differences being the silver is a little bit off and they sit slightly recessed. Honestly, no one but me or another OCD owner would notice. That said, I'll replace these w/ OE at some point. I needed a set quickly and eBay had these to my door in 2 days or so, the seller was close.
Pricey but worthwhile to spend a few bucks on the Porsche center caps. Plus the correct 996.1 caps have a different style than the .2 facelift and newer cars.
For what its worth, the knockoffs I had on my 986 and 964 were supposedly made in Italy, too. But, imo, only because the knockoff producer made an exact copy.
The plastic held up well enough but the crests surely didnt.
Not surprised. The emblems don't appear to be adequately clear coated....wonder if you could clear coat them w/ the 2k in a can? They did what I needed them to do, show up quickly, but I'll replace them w/ my next big Sunset/Sierra/Pelican order.
