This is probably best answered by Suneet:
Does anybody know anything about this set up. It seems like a good idea, and if it can be hard wired into one of the fuses while hiding the wires it would be great. Not sure of sound quality, but it would eliminate having to clutter up the dash with the Parrot or Motorola unit.

You need to fix your links. You got one too many http in there
Wow, that looks pretty slick. whether it was ment to or not, you could easily hard wire this (for power anyway) and hide all the wiring. The only wire you'd have to see if the one inch between the rearview mirror and the ceiling.
This is upsetting becuase I just logged on the tell about installing my parrot....
Though it would probably be an effort to have it mute your stereo which would be key because you'd never hear the parrot without the mute function.
(it isn't shaped like a cayman mirror.....)
This probaby goes without saying, but it would not work with the autodimming mirrors very well.
2thmnky,
This is the first that I've seen anything about it, but this manufacturers website (Modoo) lists in detail all the functions supported.

It doesn't have a mute lead that could connect to the stereo and automatically mute it. It's meant to be used with a 12v jack for some reason, but you could easily splice that and hardwire it. Also, people with the antidazzle mirror would lose that functionality. You could however wire an extra switch to control the antidazzle features of the side mirrors.

Thanks Suneet for the link. After looking at the install I'm not sure I want to clip something on my rearview mirror. I think it would look strange and bulky. So I guess you just saved me $150.
