Once you reach your destination you can record (memorize) it like any other location and give it a name, then put in a memory for future use or for someone else who is using the same car.

I did a search on this, but only found a single thread, and this question was not answered, so here goes: Does anyone know how to enter a specific destination by name? For example; I was trying to find a "Kinko's" near here, and could not find anywhere to enter that name. Apparently, you must find a POI that you like, and then find what are offered in the general categories. I tried service, but no where can I enter the name. Only the address. My other NAV system allowed you to enter any buiness name and it would find all of them, from nearest to fartherest. Any help would be appreciated.

I looked through the manual (you can download it from the files section) and the closest thing I saw was on page 59-60 and it looks like you cannot find exactly what you want unless it is one of the services pre-determined. You could try using the Enviroment setting which as I decode it is supposed to show you all the POI's in the area. Glad I went with the Garmin after trying to read the manual.

NAV setup It is not that difficult if it was pre recorded by manufacturer. So you have it as most of hotels or restaurants, however do not expect to find everything as things are changing every day. KINKO as such is not a particularly a POI and I would not personally expect it to be pre recorded. Once you reach your destination you can record (memorize) it like any other location and give it a name, then put in a memory for future use or for someone else who is using the same car. I have a list of my personal destinations I can easily reach from any side. It is particularly useful if there is a maze of streets and it is always difficult to find your street or to find destination without being extra focused. I guess this can tell you a bit more.
