I'd get the geo sorted before the tyre change, most prefer to see the wear on the tyre before working.

Just about to change my rear tyres and have been offered both the Pirrelli N3 option and the N5 option, (about £204 fitted incl VAT anyone beat that?? 295 40 18ZR) have N3's at the moment..... are the N5's just the newer option or is there more to it than that??
Also going to get the Geo done as the rear tyres are wearing unnevanly (outside wearing far more) (1.8-3.1-4) and have read great things about Centre Gravity on this forum ~ I am in South wales anyone nearer ?? or is it really worth the drive

Hi Paul,
That does sound very unusual for a 4S. They usually wear from the inside out, in many cases you could have what seems a perfectly good tyre but a worn inside edge.
An N5 would be a higher revision to the N3, so in theory a better tyre, TBH any N-rated tyre would be better than a N3 Rosso - not a good tyre
Probably not wise to mix the tyres front to rear on a 4S though, you might have the PSM flashing a bit with the differing tyre types.
TBH, Centre Gravity is just one of many, although Chris' attention to detail and 1-on-1 approach is welcomed in this day and age. Others to consider are any of the reputable indys you see recommended here. I'm sorry I can't help on any in the S. Wales area.

The normal asimmetricos seem to be at version N3, and the asimmetrico Rossos seem to be at version N5?
