Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. This is not a probability of success.

I had that with mine and that's what it turned out to be.
Leading evidence: 'be' (1 discussions report identifying this cause; no attributable repair resolution). Across 1 matching discussions, the most frequently mentioned possible cause is 'be' (1 discussions; 1 report identifying it and 0 suggest it). The most frequently discussed action is 'Check potentially help' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.

They all needed balancing and they checked the tyres for wear, shape etc.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I rarely use my car on motorways, mostly on poorer surfaced cross country roads.
A recent smooth motorway journey highlighted a vibration through the wheel and could be felt through the car.
As a result I had all 4 wheels balanced. This was done at an OPC as it was booked in for some other work.
They all needed balancing and they checked the tyres for wear, shape etc.
Still vibrating though. Not a wheel wobble as such more of a rumble throught the whole car. Starts at about 70 peaks at 90 and is present at high speed.
Driving to Italy in a weeks time including the 'ring on the way down and it will drive me crazy on the smooth French autoroutes.
Any advice or experience welcome
Thanks
Karl
Still the same whether cornering or not. On some smooth tarmac on the A43 today it was possible to see the wheel vibrating, but the feel is as much through the seat as the wheel.
The vibration doesn't get any worse or better at higher speed, present at 120+mph. Not enough the make the car feel unsafe though.
Checked the tyre pressure, wearing evenly and recently balanced. Will a geometry check potentially help?
It was wheel balancing after all.
When the OPC balanced them a few weeks ago. there was a problem with their machine which has subsequently been found and fixed.
When they investigated today what else could be causing the vibration they came clean. Some of the wheels were 40g out......
Why they didn't bother to inform those customers who may have been affected I don't know.
Anyway nice and smooth now. Glad I got it sorted as off to the 'ring Sunday and then down to Switzerland and Italy.
