Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

:? OK I am with A Plan at the moment, havnt had to claim and the quote is great news, but are thay any good ?? Always good to know these things before you need to claim Cheers Paul

POST 2Original post

I'd have thought they'd be good given that they are a smaller outfit, rather than a faceless instituion like NU, LV etc.

POST 3Original post

They are as good as the others, Aplan are backed up by some of the biggester insures in the business

POST 4Original post

I have always heard good things about A-Plan and the way they deal with claims. Depending on how you use your car i.e. if a second car, garaged and under 5k miles pa - Hagerty are just fantastic - mine is sub £300 including breakdown cover!

POST 5Original post

Try Adrian Flux - they did my ( declared ) mapped TT for 800ish with NU which I reckon is a bargain. Before anyone asks I declared it because I am honest

POST 6Original post

Try Bell Insurance as well. They're backed by Admiral and are buying the insurance market at the moment.
