Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

I am having my 06 CS lowered this week. I was thinking 1 inch was enough but they are recommending 1.5 inches. I have the 18' Standard wheels with 6mm spacers on front and 15mm on the rear. Any suggestions or thoughts from those of you who have already lowered your CS?

POST 2Original post

whats your goal? asthetics, max handling, ride comfort? each is a tradeoff against the others usually....and it important to clearly definewhat you are after. dw

POST 5Original post

' 13.75' center of wheel to wheel arch lip.' mooty does that apply for both front and rear ride heights?

POST 7Original post

Is that for 18 inch wheels with the stock size tires? because tire and wheel size would affect this measurement wouldn't it?

POST 8Original post

no, tire/wheel size will not affect the measurement. it's measure from center of wheel/hub/axel to lip of fender.

POST 9Original post

Is that where the standard Eibach lowering springs put you by chance?

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
