Suggestion

Flaking would indicate it has had a surface repair, common with used car dealers, it is better to get them stripped back and re powder coated, a guy near me does them for £50 per wheel >18'' which is cheaper than some mobile repairers doing surface repairs.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

hi there, im starting to put my "lady" up to standard, since I will be returning home soon - but she ( yes, my 996tt its a she ) will be coming to me. So first thing to sort out - I kerbed a wheel ( ok a couple ) and now want it repaired - also I have another one that is flaking. Where in East London or wherabouts to do it ? Cost and time to be done ? Traveling up to 1hr outside not a problem, specially with country roads and turbo :bandit:

Hi Triff, His name is John, based in Essex, on Canvey Island ideally he likes the wheels to be left with him, he has limited space for cars. He done 2 of my cab turbo wheels for £100cash, and then done the other 2 wheels later for the same, if you get all 4 done it may get alittle cheaper. They were completely stripped back and repaired, looked brand new  www.jppolishing.co.uk Dan
