Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

it will literally cure bogging on my sled that I know is caused by dirty carbs.
Leading evidence: 'dirty carbs' (1 discussions report identifying this cause; no attributable repair resolution). Across 1 matching discussions, the most frequently mentioned possible cause is 'dirty carbs' (1 discussions; 1 report identifying it and 0 suggest it). The most frequently discussed action is 'Clean products' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

Nice awesome to hear that you were able to get the injectors cleaned, serviced and that the motor now has that extra pep in it's step.

If you already have the 4 hole there are effective DIY methods of cleaning and testing the spray pattern and output on the bench (Youtube)You can also test them electrically very simply.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

After 8 years of owning/driving my 99 C2 I noticed that the car didn't drive as smoothly anymore than it used to. Besides normal servicing I have done a lot of preventative maintenance like, IMS bearing, waterpump, coils,MAF etc.
This week I decided to take the fuel injectors out and had them serviced/cleaned at a local Bosch agent, after refitting them I went for a drive and the car feels way more responsive and is much easier to drive around town, it pulls away nicely from standstill and no jerkynes anymore in 2nd gear, it also idles better.(:

I've done a lot of preventive maintenance much like you have on my 2K 996 Tip. I have not messed with the injectors yet, but it's on the agenda for future things to tackle. I do however run Sea-foam and Berrymans through my fuel system several times a year to maybe assist a bit with the cleaning.
If the injectors are the 1 hole design, better to upgrade to generic Bosch 4 hole. If you already have the 4 hole there are effective DIY methods of cleaning and testing the spray pattern and output on the bench (Youtube)You can also test them electrically very simply.
You can buy an inexpensive kit containing all the filter baskets,;o; rings and other parts on Bay from companies that specialize in this work. They get good reviews - mine too.
It is a very satisfying project. At work we just use RC Engineering.
love seafoam. miracle in a bottle. I added a couple cans to the porsche. I religiously use it in my sled. every 3rd or 4th gas tank, half a can in with gas and the other half in the oIL.
it will literally cure bogging on my sled that I know is caused by dirty carbs. I haven't had to pull the carbs on my sled in over 3 years now where as I was pulling them every year for a good cleaning to get rid of the bogging.
ha! I didn't really buy into these things either until I complained to a friend (we were already on our way to tje trails) that I had to go back to my garage to pull the carbs and clean. he said "f-that, throw some seafoam in it and let's go!"
so I did, totally expecting to play catchup due to the bogging but maybe 10 minutes into the trip, the bogging went completely away. whenever it would start again a few gas tanks later, I'd just rinse and repeat and be good to go. been a fan since.
what I really need to do on my sled is run it more lean but I have the oil jet set to max now for reliability. between that and it being a yammy, she'll never blow.
I recommend Kroil from Kano Labs. This can be used in the fuel system and crankcase. I have used it for years on many different makes and models with great results.
When i I bought my P car, I ran the recommended amount through a tank of gas. Resulted in smoother throttle response and a gain in MPG. I am going to run some through the crankcase before the next oil change.
Is this an application of Kroil that Kano Labs support or your own idea?
They do have specific products as engine additives but NOT "Kroil". Kroil is a penetrating oil,not a fuel additive nor an oil additive. They have specific, significantly different products for that purpose with (obviously) different Trade names.
This is something that is very important to clarify imho.
First ,do no harm
These are their internal engine cleaning products. Notice "Kroil" is NOT listed -for reason?

My mistake. Kroil is a penetrant for loosening tough nuts and bolts (also works very well).
KREEN is the engine cleaner. You are correct, very important distinction. Apologies for creating any confusion.
After watching youtube re 02 sensors and fuel trims I dropped a can of Berrymans 12 into my gas tank only last night. What we say in the UK (to blow a bit of s h i t out of the engine).
