Read evidence and context

Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Mine were fine until I had to replace both rear tires - then I started noticing drag when driving and had to take immediate action to avoid damage to the viscous clutch.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Will these wheels below fit my 2003C4S? Front: 997.362.156.00 , 8Jx19H2 ET57 Rear: 997.362.162.00 , 11Jx19-ET51 (Spacers Included). Spacers: H&R 2895716 (14mm)

POST 2Original post

Are these the lobster claws? I don't have the part number for my front wheels handy to verify, but my rear wheels are 997.362.162.00. The fit fine without any spacers, and I recently added 8mm spacers to the front and back with no issues. Here is a thread about it: https://rennlist.com/forums/996-foru...-on-a-c4s.html A word of caution - with any C4, the total circumference of the tires needs to stay as close as possible. This will come down to tire selection. Mine were fine until I had to replace both rear tires - then I started noticing drag when driving and had to take immediate action to avoid damage to the viscous clutch. charlie
