Hello all, I purchased a 987.2 in April and the car is amazing. The only problem is I cannot get FM reception. Only a few stations and those are very staticky. Has anyone else experienced this, and is there a fix. Thanks in advance.

Any chance you had a windshield replacement? The antenna is built into the windshield. There is a plug in the back of the radio unit that you could check, but it is a pain to get to!

Don't know if the windshield was ever replaced and we did check the connection and it seemed to be connected. Not sure if I want to take it to a Dealer, I do get XM. Thanks for the suggestions.

You can see the antenna in the windshield if you look closely. So if the windshield was replaced and it doesn't have the impregnated antenna, OR it does but wasn't connected to the cable that is plugged into the head unit... XM would be a different antenna, of course. I don't even know where Porsche places it. But would have to see the sky. Sent from my SM-G988U using Tapatalk

welcome to planet 9 and porsche ownership - the radio antenna connection is hidden under one of the A pillars. To see it the pillar trim needs to be removed.
