Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

I am getting the 441 code every couple on months after I clear the code. I tried to remove the canister from the frunk, but for the life of me I couldn't get lines disconnected from the bottom of the canister. Gave up and decided to replace the fuel cap since it was easy. 2-2&1/2 mos later I get the code again Quoted from ALLDATAdiy Diagnosis information - DME Fuel tank ventilation system above/below limit value Possible fault causes -Tank vent faulty (stuck open or closed) -Tank vent installed back to front -Purge air line leaking -Purge air line trapped or blocked Due to the way the code occurs, l suspect the tank vent may be sticking intermittently. Does anyone know where the vent valve is physically located and is there a way to test it? The ROW cars seem to be in the right wheel well. Is the US version the same? TIA, Bruce 2011 base 2.9 mt
