I've not seen the invoice from the garage yet as I had the expansion tank replaced along with a load of other work, but I've seen prices range from £90 > £400.

Apparently it's a real pain in the arse to fit as you need to lower the engine to get the old one out. I've not seen the invoice from the garage yet as I had the expansion tank replaced along with a load of other work, but I've seen prices range from £90 > £400.

Hi just contacted my local OPC, gave them my VIN number and was quoted £110.00 delivered, the part number was 996.106.157.04 not what you had fitted. It's a mind field. I thought it would have been the same as yours.

Apparently they're the same item. People have ordered the Part # 996.106.157.04 but the tank is actually stamped 996.106.057.04. https://rennlist.com/forums/996-forum/961344-expansion-tank-part-rnd-euro.html Like you say, it's a minefield when it comes to ordering parts. :?:
