Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I feel pretty stupid because I can't find where this rubber part is supposed to go. It is #996-504-604-01-OEM from Pelican, called an "Air Duct, front, right (Porsche 996 (1999-2005))" I have a 2001 C2 Cab

POST 2Original post

Look here. U just have to put the part # in autoatlantas search and u can find the pet drawing http://www.autoatlanta.com/porsche-p...=99650460401#a

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks, de Jeeper. The autoatlanta site is a gold mine of exploded diagrams.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I still can't figure out how this piece is to be installed, even after seeing it's position on the diagram. Can anyone please post a photo showing it in place on the front undercarriage, please?

POST 5Original post

The issue may be this is the cab part 99650460403 The part u listed is for a 4s, is it the same? https://www.pelicanparts.com/More_In...504-604-03-OEM

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

The part you show, 996-504-604- 03 -OEM, is different from the part I have, which is 996-504-604- 01 -OEM. But, the Pelican site shows BOTH as fitting the right front of my 01 C2 Cab. I'll talk to Pelican. But, I still don't see any mounting points for either piece. Anyone got a photo, please?

POST 7Original post

I just replaced my wheel liner on a 4S. The rubber I pulled off the old looks very similar. Look around the front of the car. The plastic had slots for each rubber tab to slide into.

POST 8Original post

The liner is not just in wheel well. It goes under and towards the front bumper.

I know this is an old thread but I'm having the same problem with my part stamped 996 504 604 00 . I took if off to refinish and repaint my bumper and now can't figure out where it goes! Do you have a picture showing its location? I couldn't figure it out from the diagram.
