I shot my photos again when I have was having the issue, but maybe someone will chime in with a trick to make use of what you have.

I have a few pictures I want to post on a couple of Threads I think Planet 9 forum members will find interesting. One being a simple modification of raising the arm rest for under $5.00! The problem is when I download a picture it appears upside down even when I rotate it under the editing menu. I tried to follow the tutorial but did not have any success. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You used for phone for the photo I assume? This can sometimes happen in forum software because the phone will auto rotate the image to the correct viewing position, however the forum may try and load it however the tags within the image say it was taken and should be oriented, ignoring the fact that most pay no attention to which "direction" their phone was being held when taking photos. This is why its common to see sideways or upside down iphone, etc images when uploaded onto various internet forums.
