Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Suggestion

Here in Europe they're 100€ each, so rather expensive to replace just because of scratches.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • 911uk: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Generation: 20261026T163944Z · outcome-qualification-6. Deterministic extraction; no AI model inference. How we use sources

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Apologies for the lousy image... I'm in the process of 'improving' my 3.4 C4. I assume that interior painted parts are correctable by a good paint shop... or is there a recommended UK guru on these matters?

POST 2Original post

I'd just buy a new one, then sell your old one for half price: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/262935643638 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/353235550922

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I couldn't find these parts when I searched. Apologies for my ineptitude! Thank you for the links.

POST 4Original post

Martin (Mistercorn) helped me with a set of new decals for mine, thanks again! I then had them painted at a local body shop. Here in Europe they're 100€ each, so rather expensive to replace just because of scratches.

POST 5Original post

If you want a set of transfers ping me your address and I'll get a pair in the post to you. MC

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Great idea. My gear knob could do with the same... however paint shops aren't particularly inexpensive at the moment. I'll speak to my paint man tomorrow.

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Very kind!!! Great idea too!!! I've sent you a PM. :worship:

POST 8Original post

Hi MC - are these stick-on? I had mine repainted and had some transfers but they are intended to go on between painting and lacquering & I only realised after I got them back finished.

POST 9Original post

They are wet transfers. You could put them on the top, bit better under the lacquer. AFAIK I am the only person selling these, so if you bought them from eBay, most likely from me. MC
