I did have an email back from Michelin EU confirming no stock, along with no estimated return date, and to check back with them again in a couple of weeks.

As as aside, I did try the Michelin cashback offer but was declined as BlackCircles are not part of this, despite using a local (partner) fitter - was worth a try!

Hello fellow 996ers,
Had the misfortune of returning to a flat tyre and upon inspection, found a nice gouge out of it (see pic) which does not look repairable!
I'm struggling to find a PS2 replacement in 255/40/17 (94/Y) - ideally I only want one to replace this on OSR as they're not particularly old.
I wondered if anyone could advise whether this is likely just a supply issue rather than a discontinuation? I'm yet to call all of the local shops but have exhausted online options, although I will persevere.
Worst case I assume will be a new pair of PS4s?
Any input on the above would be gratefully received - thank you!

these people seem to have some in stock but I have never dealt with them and know nothing about them , They claim to have 7 in stock

It doesn't sound like a discontinuation quite yet so I'll keep scouring and will report back with any other findings - cheers
Have you tried an OPC? I managed to get a set for my 968 cs a couple of months ago.
Had to get the fronts from Tyremen and the backs from Camskill but the chap at Camskill said Michelin had been prioritising supplying the OPCs
Thanks, that's a good suggestion for OPC - I just tried my local branch and they could get hold of one which sounded perfect, but at £193 before VAT and fitting, I think I would rather hang on a bit!
Looks like it would be more cost effective to put a pair of PS4s on, but I'll wait a few more weeks before committing to that.
Fortunately I have another car to use which happens to have new PS4s all round!
Thanks all for input and to conclude this, I gave up searching. There were a few options but decided, due to time and cost efficiency, to buy a new pair of PS4s - BlackCircles had 15% off which helped!
I've listed the the other tyre on a well known online auction site, should it be of use to anyone else!

Hi Kevin - the PS4s I bought are not N rated, I'm not sure if there is a N-equivalent version but wasn't something I was personally worried about (don't have an OPC warranty).
